Your Echo can chime with a message from Ask My Glucose for account reminders (trial ending, sensor ending, sensor link needs attention) and, if you turn it on, a low-glucose nudge. To get chimes, allow notifications for Ask My Glucose in the Alexa app.
No chimes at all in this window — reminders wait and are read to you next time you ask. Leave blank for none. Reminders are never sent before 9 AM or after 8 PM.
A chime on your Echo when two readings in a row are below your threshold. Then ask “what’s my glucose” to hear the number. Off by default.
Chimes go to every Echo on your Alexa account. To keep one quiet (like the bedroom), turn on Do Not Disturb for that Echo in the Alexa app.
Echo chimes are being switched on by Amazon. Your settings are saved and take effect automatically.
