Dexcom + Alexa: step-by-step setup

Dexcom uses two sides too: Share (the wearer turns it on) and Follow (the account that watches). Ask My Glucose signs in with the Follow account.

Share vs. Follow

In the Dexcom G6/G7 app the wearer turns on Share and invites followers. Each follower uses the Dexcom Follow app with their own Dexcom account. Ask My Glucose logs in with that Follow account — not the wearer’s primary Dexcom login.
