Hear your glucose on a HomePod

Prefer Apple’s speaker to an Echo? A one-time Siri Shortcut lets your HomePod speak your glucose whenever you ask.

How it works

The same Siri Shortcut that works on your iPhone and Apple Watch also works on a HomePod. Build it once from your Ask My Glucose voice link, and ‘Hey Siri, my glucose’ reads your latest number aloud in the room.

Set it up
1
Copy your voice link
Create and copy your personal voice link on your dashboard.
2
Make the Shortcut
Shortcuts app: ‘Get Contents of URL’ (paste the link), ‘Get Dictionary Value’ for key speech, then ‘Speak Text.’ Name it ‘My Glucose.’
3
Ask the HomePod
The Shortcut is available on any device signed in to your Apple ID, including HomePod — just say ‘Hey Siri, my glucose.’
